In 1972 founder Ted Marquis, Sr., and his wife, Rose, were lifelong residents of Yakima Washington.  Ted, Sr., purchased the property on W Washington Ave as part of their manufacturing expansion project with MARQ Packaging Systems.  His vision was always to develop the property, but he was busy with his manufacturing businesses. In 1998 Ted finally got his opportunity and started his general contracting business, Wide Hollow Development, LLC, which developed what is now Creekside Business Park.  In 2006, Wide Hollow Development leased additional land on S 40th Avenue across from Creekside Business Park that developed into Creekside West.  Between the two properties, there is a total of 40+ acres and 15 first class commercial buildings totaling in excess of 167,000SF.  Today, Trent Marquis, son of Ted, Sr., manages a full-time on-site construction and property team that provides management services with a friendly and personal touch.  We not only maintain the appearance and operations of our spaces and properties, we also are in constant contact with our tenants to ensure we are doing everything we can to support the success of their businesses. Our team consists of skilled electricians and carpenters, landscaping specialists, laborers and a property management team.
