How to pick Apples Correctly

Instructions

Picking Technique:

  1. Cup the apple in your palm
  2. Lift upward and twist gently
  3. The stem should come off with the apple
  4. Leave the wooden spur on the tree

IMPORTANT: Pick the apple and stem only – NOT the spur (woody part). Removing the spur damages the tree and prevents apples from growing there next year. Many farms don’t allow u-pick for this reason. We trust you’ll pick correctly!
