How to pick Peaches Correctly
Instructions
Picking Technique:
- Cradle the peach gently in your hand
- Lift upward and give a slight twist
- If ripe, it will release easily
- DO NOT grab with fingers and pull down – this bruises the fruit
Peach Season Timing
Peach season usually begins in early August and continues through early September. We harvest different varieties in succession, giving you fresh tree-ripened peaches throughout the season. Weather affects ripening dates, so we announce each variety as it becomes ready on this website and through our email list.
